babatunjiIn honor of the 2 year anniversary of Black Panther coming out on Feb 16 2018, we invite you to join us in appreciating the film and the fandom! This year’s Black Panther Fandom Appreciation event will be from Feb 1 to Feb 20. There are three activities for the event, so people can participate at any level: a shoutout drive, a comment drive, and a fanworks drive.

Rules:
-We will allow all pairings and ratings, provided they adhere to AO3s content guidelines. Please make sure to list your squicks and triggers in your wishlist, so we can consider them in your match.
-Please apply the according content warnings to works that have themes concerning racism, homophobia, misogyny and any other form of sensitive content.
-Please include various different things on your wishlist to make it easier for us to match you to a content creator and give your match some wiggle room when they create your gift.

snowflake_challenge. The prompt was to talk about your favourite piece of canon, and, well, I just had a lot of squee and feeeeelings for my son:
Do you sometimes think about how it's most probably Erik Killmonger's first ever time in Wakanda, and it's such an idyllic moment: the countryside mellowed by the afternoon sun, and all around him for metres just Wakandan grass gently swaying (maybe a hello, maybe something else), and he's dragging a body, and he's Almost There. If I had to choose between this scene and another favourite scene where he walks up to the throne whilst the camera tilted, I'm going with his landing on Wakanda. The first touch, so to speak. The first whiff, the first breath, the first sight. So tranquil, so idyllic. Juxtaposed with a body being dragged and Erik's single-minded expression. SO PERFECT. I love it so much.
